Mary Lance, the distinguished and award winning director of films on the WPA arts project, Diego Rivera, and other great artists, traveled to five countries to research and videotape the stories of people who are using indigo according to their cultural traditions and those who are reviving it to improve their communities.

Internationally acclaimed, Maestro Rajeev Taranath, one of the world’s leading proponents of the sarod, performs Indian Classical music rich with inspired imagination and emotional intensity.
Sri Abhiman Kaushal, outstanding tabla (small drums) artist much sought-after for his sensitive accompaniment and intense solo playing.
Dr. Sarah Morelli, Assistant Professor of Ethnomusicology at the University of Denver’s
Lamont School of Music, will explain and demonstrate Kathak dance.
